This site is the campaign website of Jim McKelvey who is seeking to represent the 5th Congressional District of Virginia. You can view his website at McKelveyForCongress.org.
People are increasingly searching Google instead of the yellow pages when they want or need a product or service.
Potential customers use keywords like "plumber blacksburg", "attorney roanoke", and "cpa roanoke va".
Ranking well for search terms related to your business will bring you new business.
The first organic listing on Google gets over 42% of the clicks. That means that website is getting almost half of the visitors for that search.
The second spot gets almost 12% of the traffic .....
It gets worse from there...
The internet has redefined the way we all communicate with each other and how political campaigns are conducted.
If you are running for office you must have a website that enables your campaign to touch as many voters as possible. It must rank well on all of the search engines. It must rank well for issues in addition to the candidates name.
Voters demand information about candidates. If you do not provide it to them your opponent(s) will.
Voters want to participate with your campaign via social media (facebook & twitter) your website needs to be able to integrate these seamlessly, and be simple for your supporters to use. So they can help spread the word about your candidate.
Give me a call and let me work with you to design and launch a website that presents a professional image to voters. I can design a website that will be effective at capturing votes. I have done it before.

Not too long ago, web designers had to do a separate design for each device that would be used to visit each website because they didn't display properly and didn't work across all devices. This could get expensive.
A responsive website adapts to the size of the viewing device, such as a desktop, smartphone or tablet, versus showing a separate design. So now only one design per website is needed.
