Website Maintenance & Repair

Many of my clients have a website that I did not build, but they have hired me to repair and/or maintain their existing website.

Some, do not want to be bothered with doing it themselves.

More, have tried doing it on their own and decided they don't have enough time. A few, broke their own site.

Another unfortunate small group of clients, had another "web designer" fix their site so well that it .... no longer worked..... (it usually turned out that the "web designer" was their cousin's kid who "knows" websites, but a few of them were "professionals")

Others no longer have a relationship with their original website designer for various reasons.

But all of these clients use my services to keep their website in top form.

I of course offer maintenance services to all of my clients that I build sites for.  Some hire me to maintain their site, some choose to do it themselves.  It is really a matter of their interest in doing so and their comfort level. Sites that I build don't require knowing code to maintain. If you can use your email you can do it yourself.

But, I think the #1 reason they hire me to do the maintenance work is that they don't have enough hours in the day.  They are busy people building their businesses and when they do get some spare time .... they would rather spend it with their friends and family.

Repair and Maintenance is $75 per hour plus expenses.

Google's search results determine how many customers visit your website.

People are increasingly searching Google instead of the yellow pages when they want or need a product or service.

Potential customers use keywords like "plumber blacksburg", "attorney roanoke", and "cpa roanoke va".

Ranking well for search terms related to your business will bring you new business.

The first organic listing on Google gets over 42% of the clicks. That means that website is getting almost half of the visitors for that search.

The second spot gets almost 12% of the traffic .....

It gets worse from there...
